Hattrick, living soccer online

well… as I did myself, you might be thinking… one more online-football-manager! but I tell you give it a try and you will not repent. yep, it’s about soccer and yes it is about managing a team like all the other games. I will tell you why I find this game so fabulous and then it’s up to you ;-)

It’s an online and almost real time game, but it has nothing to do with performances of real players out there in the world. you really have your own team with your own players, which behave as if they would be real.

Some few features: weekly cycle with league and cup or friendly matches, training and aging of the players and coach, setup team formation, lots of money to handle, fans and sponsors to stimulate, stadium to maintain and expand, youth team to take care about and a huge marketplace where to sell and buy new fantastic players for your team.

And now to what I really find embarrassing: the tremendous community behind this game! there are currently 866.922 user (managers) registered and spread around the world. usually there are at least 20.000 people logged in when I join the website. there are lots of forums and entire websites writing only about Hattrick, reporting from last weeks matches or giving you tips and tricks how to tweak your team. they development team also put a programming interface (CHPP) to the public so everyone can write his one software for better analysis and statistics :-D if you have some time left

As you see, it’s a great thing to play and spend some time. the good thing, it’s up to you whether you spend 5 hours a day or 1 hour a week to manage your team and after all it doesn't cost anything. So, do yourself a pleasure and give it a try – it is fun!
